Vunene ‘Joeseph Pryse’ Mkhavele is a 22-year-old cinematographer, editor, sound designer, sound engineer and writer from the “City of Gold”, Johannesburg. Although rooted from the city of Polokwane Limpopo, this Tsonga artist has found his passion in telling the stories that need to be told. Carefully plotting and organizing the technical pieces as an art from then delivering it to you, the viewer. This time he is tasked with alongside his teammates to envision a beautiful story, Izimfihlo. A tale of family, it’s love and lack thereof, it’s beauty and its flaws. How does a story like this get visually translated in a unique way that is able to catch the eyes and heart of the audience? These are thoughts that repetitively run this young artist’s psyche. Thus to the best of his knowledge and capability he has applied and performed, alongside his teammates, giving you, the audience a production that is drama packed and spicy.
